Rent-a-Car terms & conditions

Minimum rental period: 24 hours and 100 Km. Every fraction of a day should be considered as a full day.

Payment: the customer may pay the cost of rental with any of the major credit cards; otherwise the method is an advance payment of the estimated cost of rental, plus a deposit defined by Servi-Car. No cash deposit is required for payment with credit card.

Insurance: tariffs include Third Party Liability for an unlimited sum, bail and legal defense in Spain, together with damage to third parties. In case of accident the client must pay all the cost of the reparation. This cost is stipulated by a cover damage and it depends on the car. Servi-Car rent-a-car offers a special and personal insurance to the other people in the car which will be 5€ per day.

Petrol: charged to the customer.

Taxes: according to the Spanish law.

Maintenance: the vehicles for rent have been revised. Servi-Car rent-a-car will pay the lubricants and greasing, plus the fortuitous breakdown when they are repaired with Servi-Car authorisation, as long as the corresponding invoice is supplied.

Prolongation of rental: if the client wishes to prolong the rental period, he or she must inform Servi-Car before the contract expires, and must go to Servi-Car´s office to renew the insurance.

Traffic fines: they will be charged to the client.

Delivery and pick up: free delivery in the city of Barcelona (stations, ports, hotels and companies during working hours). For each airport pick-up or delivery, there is a 14€ surcharge. For special services please contact Servi-Car.

An extra charge will be applied should we need to remove animal fur from the vehicle or if for whatever reason we need to carry out extra cleaning.

These rates may be changed without prior notice.
